One of my main reasons for shipping Allan/Marian is the way they can be with each other; free and uncomplicated, in feelings if not in situation. So I always try and incorporate that when I write them.
I was quite worried about writing all three relationships believably (is that a word?!) so I'm glad you can see the things I was trying to convey here!
I totally think Robin just blocks out any signs of Marian's feelings for Guy. He refuses to believe they could even exist in his Marian. But seriously, who could resist Guy? He's being played by Richard Armitage! *grin*

*squeals* thank you :D
Robin's very controlling, isn't he? Like you say, everything has to be his way. One of my favourite bits is where he does the "My friends think I am vain!" thing :D
Oh no, not mad. I'm not overly taken with him, but I wouldn't say no! He was very lovely in The Vicar of Dibley :D

Some parts of character's personalities are just more fun to write *grin* Looking forward to nasty!Robin.
He was in the last couple of episodes. He played an accountant called Harry that had just moved to the village and ended up marrying the Vicar. It was great :D
