now everyone in my circle of friends knows i'm getting married, so i can announce it here to the cyber public.
hey everyone, reuben and i are getting married!
i'm moving to tucson at the end of the month and our wedding is soon to follow. wedding date is (news flash) now up in the air. it may be 6 june, rather than end of july. anyhow, our ceremony will be private (just reuben & i) at a remote mountain location. we're both excited and i am happier than i've been in years.
reuben arrives 26 may (a date that has significance to me. i wanted this date to have a new meaning) and we're having a party here next saturday. he's meeting everybody here in NE (well, at least the ones who are available) and then we're driving the penske truck to AZ.
we haven't yet found a house (to rent). most likely we'll live at his parents' until we locate the right place.

i have to say--that registry thing is really swell. personally, i'm in awe of it. you can sort it by purchased/nonpurchased, or by price, or by the priority reuben & i have assigned things. the things kids come up with these days! if you view the registry, make sure you read the comments (mostly humorous) we wrote for each item.
i've been itching to make this a public post for some time, but held off because i hadn't told everyone i needed to. now i have. so, let the fun begin.
