Really, People?

Dear Dire Maul - Warpwood Quarter group from tonight,

Thank you for the most frustrating dungeon run I've ever been in. I zone in to realize that the tank (Wtsbj-Area52) is in full cloth heirlooms, as is the hunter (Thepetpulled-Area52) who doesn't even have her pet out, and the healer (Luloo-Mal'Ganis). The rogue (Razorheart-Azuremyst) at least is in leather gear. It was mostly quiet, with the healer complaining once about the tank and hunter, neither of whom really seemed to take much damage so apparently Wtsbj knows her class well enough to get away with it. No, the frustrating part started when Lethtendris dropped the Quel'dorei Channeling Rod, which was a nice upgrade for me. So I needed on it. So did the tank, who won it. When I complained, pointing out that paladins can't even equip staves, the healer responded by pointing out that the tank was doing twice my dps on trash. She also has a couple AoEs she can use while I, a boomkin, don't even have my one AoE spell yet. Of course the tank is going to have better dps on trash than a boomy who can only cast dots and channeled spells. When I remind the healer that I only have wrath and starfire, she reminds me that I have moonfire, which is instant cast. It's also a dot, so it doesn't actually put out much damage in one burst. When I said that, she didn't really say anything. Then Hydrospawn dropped the Waterspout boots, also an upgrade. That time, the rogue needed on them and won. I didn't even bother complaining. They'd just laugh about my dps (which won't get better if you keep needing on the gear that'll actually help make it better). Zevrim Thornhoof's Clever Hat went to the hunter instead of me (I was still wearing the helm from Gnomeregan) as did an intellect two-hand mace that wasn't as nice as the staff but still an upgrade (hunters can't use maces). Alzzin's Merciful Greaves went to the tank (she may have thought they were mail, given the icon for them, but I doubt that's why she needed on them). Thank you RNG for dropping the gear I needed, but not the numbers for winning them.

Wishing I'd slapped them on ignore while I could,
Harzyle, the hunter moonlighting as a boomkin

name and shame, hunter, rogue, paladin, raaaage, druid, pugs, priest, how rude!
