Deviant art and my new job

Jan 17, 2014 19:09

So I've been active a lot on deviant art lately. I have to say that I love it. I've been getting 'favourited' and have had a lot of Doofenshmirtz related pages add my art to them. Now I know that I shouldn't be flattered because there's tons of people on deviant art and those groups will add anything to them, but I still am flattered. I do think it's kind of creepy though that when I draw something perverse it will get 'favourited' by what appears to be very young kids. I know that you're supposed to be 18 to see adult content, but I bet tons of people lie. Either that or some 18+ year olds draw like they are 11 years old. Either way... it creeps me out.

As for my new job, I've been working at a huge greenhouse almost doing factory work. I'm pretty sure that I am allergic to my job. The huge puffy red area on my arm seems to be a good indicator for that. I wasn't too worried, but it keeps getting bigger. I've been there for 5 days, worked about 51 hours, and my allergy spot is as bid around as a baseball, not as raised though. It makes me nervous. However, I want to keep this job even though I don't like it. I do however like what it does to my life. Everyday after work, I go to a cool local cafe, drink a delicious drink, count up my calories for the day, post some art online, and draw a bit. This job gives me a good structure to my spare time. I dig it.

So that's about it for now... here's a piece I posted to deviant art. It's a Doof and Perry hook-up and has been quite popular. Hope you like!
