My new pictures and my nice night

So I finally uploaded a pic I drew of "me" which makes me happy :) I've had a good night even though my back pains have returned. First I watched Richard Simmons on YouTube. God is he awesome! And I do mean that sincerely; I actually went to his website to thank him for being himself and so inspiring. And then I listened to an awesome writer talk read from her book. Her name's Peggy Millen. Then I went and got dinner. I do enjoy eating by myself. However, it seems to make the waitresses look at me weird. I don't think they understand that a person can dine alone, enjoy themselves, and take time. They always ask me "Are you doing ok" a lot. Maybe it's because I like to order something nice and take time to enjoy it instead of shoving it down my throat. Today a pita pizza with pesto sauce, parm, olives, garlic, and anchovies on the side with a nice glass of red wine. There was live music.

So I sat, ate, drew, and sipped on wine. Sometimes I wish I was in another country where it's perfectly normal to take your time to eat and enjoy wine. I like Italian food, but I love French! Parle vous frances? Je nas parle pas. Un per. "Moi et toi, chez moi, ses soir?" ...I think I spelled that wrong, but it means loosely, "me and you, my place, tonight?" I barely remember any French from...(thinking... junior high 2yrs, high school 4yrs, college 4, afterwards 2)... 12 years ago!!! Holy crap! From half my life ago! Damn that makes me feel old! wow...

Anywho... It was a nice night.
