Life as a graduate...
Hola!
Before i begin let me tell you that this entry is to be joyous, filled with the positive aspects of my life over the past month and this may take the format of bullet points and lists [which i like an awful lot!]
* Ruth and Matt's Wedding: A beautiful day, truly beautiful. They were both so happy and glowing and it was wonderful to see ruth, matt, lell and add again:) I had a lot of fun doing Ruth's hair and make-up and Lell and i danced the night away [and i even got a couple of dance out of Alistair, thank you!]
*The Body Shop: Great to be back there again and i've just been promoted to keyholder - i ran the store on Sunday which was fab! I've applied for a couple of assistant manager jobs so i reckon i'll be sticking with this company this year while i make some money ready for japan and to give back to the bank! My regional manager's manager told me that she loved how my 'drama' was evident in my product demonstrations, haha! In-store theatre, loving it!
*My 22nd Birthday: Lovely, low-key, family based:) The evening before i went out for a meal with friends from home to Wagamamas in Nottingham, delicious food and we went to a rooftop bar where we sipped cocktails like the 20-somethings we all are! Then we came back to Loughborough and went to a new place for more cocktails/wine and then on to a normal pub, not too drunken apart from Amy [who found a light-sabre in a skip...]. On my actual bday i had a lazy morning with Alistair and then went walking in the afternoon with my mum, 2 sisters and all my nieces and my little nephew and we picked blackberrys! Later that arvo alistair and i met in town for smoothies and cake! :)
*Alistair and I: Wonderful....:) I can see him every day, yippeee!! i've waited for this since the day i got dropped off in Aber in September 2003! I love you so much.
*The next month: Lell and Ruth start PGCEs, i hope to visit them both! Alistair finishes his job end of sep, hopefully we will be living together whether it's l'boro, bath or walton-on-thames!!
