England game, Gerard's a sweet heart. Nereida's a skank...

It was so good to finally watch some football again! I know it's been just a week since the final, but I was desperate to see my boys again.Well some of them, at least. Thank god ESPN decided to show the game, normally they don't show any friendlies.

Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it! I don't like international football much, because it seems horribly slow in comparision with Premier League football, but this was a very good game. I was very pleasantly surprised by England, they actually put together a very fluent, passing game! Of course, the USMNT as they are known ( I like it, sounds like a military organisation!) are not exactly the best opposition around, but like David Pleat(sp?) liked to remind us a thousand times, you can only play what is put in front of you.And England played quite well. Loved the second goal especially, it was marvellously worked! Although, Capello, if you had had my Michael there in the team, you might have scored a similar one earlier. Barry did all right. Okay, I admit that it was an awesome pass. That's all you're getting from me! Yes, I'm still bitter.

Glad for Stevie, he deserved to score, I thought he played quite well despite being marooned on the left. Defoe was a nice surprise too, he showed some good movement and caused their defenders loads of trouble. Pity he missed those easy chances. Wayne looked happier to be playing behind a striker, but still doesn't seem 100%. Hopefully, he can have his operation, get a nice rest, enjoy his wedding, and come back fresher next season! Nice to see Becks is still as lethal as ever with his free-kicks! Poor David Bentley doesn't have the same ability at set pieces, although he's quicker. I was impressed by Frank Lampard too(and it hurts me to say this!) I think he showed a lot of heart, and moved the ball around nicely. Glad for Terry too, he deserves to have something to make him happier.

But I totally agree with the commentators, Owen was definitely the best player on the pitch! He was terrific in breaking up the play and getting the ball back! Loved seeing him again, he looked so eager to play! Although, I kind of want him to play in a more attacking role, I think he's better there. Like that one time in the second half when he ran with the ball along the right wing, it was really good!

So, looks like Don Fabio has done some good with the team. I'm glad for them, the fans deserve so much better. They looked pretty happy tonight!

Moving on, Gerard Pique is such a sweetheart! He wrote a lovely letter to all the fans, thanking us for our support. It made me want to cry, it hurts so much to let them go! I know he wasn't an important player or anything, but he was part of the family. I'll miss him. *sniff*
Not to mention it was nice having one sexy spaniard on the team! All the best Gerard, make us proud at Barcelona! And don't forget us when you go on to become one of the finest defenders in the world!!!

Cristiano Ronaldo has got the most horrible taste in women!!! God, I actually though that this time around he might have found a nice girl, but this one is the worst of the lot. All her disgusting antics make me want to throw up. If you don't believe me, go see the Sun. I don't believe how cheap she is. And that is not even the worst part. Do you know that she regularly chats on MSN to everyone who'll listen about Cristiano? Apparently, she's proclaiming that she's engaged to him and they're trying for a baby. I kid you not, see here. She's wearing a Man United shirt, how terrible!!! What a skank! The only good thing is that she said she didn't want him to go to Real Madrid. Thank you for that small favour at least.

Well, at least she's a step up from the hookers! But he really needs to find a nice girl.

I'm really tired, I'm going to sleep now! I'll read your entries tomorrow, good night!

Oh, it's the 29th over here already, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY Lily/
