Dear lord, is the transfer window open already?

This is just ridiculous. It's not even the end of the season yet and we're already having rumours circulating around. Bids are being made, players are being unsettled, there is speculation about players leaving, managers are dissing other managers....it's going to be hell for the next few months!

Right out of the blocks are Liverpool who've ( Read more... )

I hate transfer talk. Well, it's not so bad when it's about who might come in, I guess.

I have no idea what the hype about Barry is about. It's like he is the greatest thing since sliced bread and I have this feeling that much of it is due to the English press needing another one in whom to put all their hopes. Like Michael Owen, Wayne... But to be fair - I haven't really seen Barry play (except against us once and then in the nt, I think, and okay, I wasn't that impressed then), so he might be awesome.

Ryan Babel does have the talent, but not the required temperament.
From what I've seen babel has the same problem as Nani - his decision making is not so great.

Now Roque, I approve of completely! Please get him Fergie! But he looks like a drugie and he played for Bayern. For fuck's sake there is even a stupid pop song about it - can't we get Torres? Like pretty please? With a cherry on top? ;P ( ... )

You're spot on about the fact that the only reason he's hyped and priced so much is because he's English, and the press need someone to look up to as their saviour. I don't think he's any more awesome than some of the other midfielders around, like Reo-Coker or Huddlestone. And I personally feel Mikey could do his job in the NT so much better, if Capello would actually look at him, but anyways.

Yup, and Babel too keeps giving the ball away. I suppose we need to give both of them some time. Although I'm not feeling particularly generous towards Nani at the moment. He can go lock himself in the basement for all I care. Stupid idiot!

But he looks like a drugie and he played for Bayern.
He does not! You need to get over that. He's very sexy, right up to Cristiano-sexy. And Owen played for Bayern too. See, they already know each other, so Roque will have no problem settling in. And he has the coolest name ever!

I so agree. The man has to be blinde to not see it. Oh well. On the other hand, let the media focus on Barry. That way Mike can focus on the footie. Heh.

And throw the keys out of the window. Yes. Seriously. I'm willing to accept the crappy decisions because he still is kind of young - mind you, not as young as Cristiano and Wayne were - but today? To speak with Sir Alex - a total disgrace.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I should get over my Bayern dislike with Roque. Here be the song ( ... )

Hmm yeah, perhaps it's better that Mike is not getting injured playing for England. We can have him all to ourself.

Oh, that song is really cool! But I have no clue what they are saying! And is that Roque whose photo they show? Dear me, he looks different!

I mean, let's be realistic. Gaz will retire one day in the not too far away future.
*sobs* no don't say that! I want my Gaz and Giggsy and Scholesy to play forever!

Yeah, left-backs are really rare. And I'd forgotten that we have Tweety-I mean, Silvestre. He's all right as a back up.

Lolz. Yep, that, too.

Yep. That's him on those pics. I refuse to actually listen to the song but the title is a word play. In German "I rock" is "Ich rocke" and "rocke" is pronounced exactly like "Roque".

oops? I never said anything? Forever and ever, of course. *pets you*

Right. We do. And he did fine when he came on against - okay, I forgot it already. Was it in the 1st leg against Barca?
