Manchester United 4 - Arsenal 0

Oh my God, I don't know what to say. How awesome are we? God, I can't believe how damn wonderful we were today! Absolutely every single person who wore that Man Utd shirt gave it their everything today. And I am so damn proud of them. *sniffs* I think I could cry.

I bow down at your feet Sir Alex. I can't tell you how sorry I am for ever doubting you. When I saw the team sheet, I was totally shocked and convinced that we were going to throw it away. I mean, Cristiano not even on the bench? Wayne as the lone striker? Midfield of Michael, Fletch and Anderson? Park instead of Giggsy? I honestly did not understand what was going on. But it proved to be such a masterstroke. I solemny swear to never ever doubt your selection!

But it would have been totally worthless if our players weren't so awesome. I'm going to talk about each and every one of them, because they so deserve it.

Fletch, I seriously love you! God, I've never ever seen anyone so energetic and comitted. It was so so wonderful to watch. He ran and ran and ran the whole game. Not to mention throwing himself into every single tackle, being at the exact right position to intercept the pass, and totally owning Cesc Fabregas. Oh, and did I mention that he scored two goals too? It was just brilliant. I am so so damn proud of him. For someone who hasn't even made the bench the last few games, it is just awesome that he gave it his everything. Oh god, why are our midfielders so damn good? It just seems horribly unfair that he probably won't get a chance for another 10 games. But no, today I just want to hug him and savour his performance. My Motm definitely.

Mikey. Fabio Capello, if based on what you saw today you still ignore Michael Carrick, then I'll seriously have to wonder if you are blind. Another awesome performance from our No. 16. He's so cool and calm at all times. And his vision, god, it is just out of this world. That ball that he played to Nani for the second goal-I was so drooling over it! Just beautiful to watch. It made me wonder, what would it have been like if he'd started the derby? But no, I won't go there right now. That is the past and they have completely made up for it.

Anderson. I have said this before, but I feel like repeating it a thousand times. This kid is really special. (Bit silly calling him a kid cause he's only a year or so younger than me, but bear with me). Another brave and courageous performance from him. And like the game at the Emirates, he completely dominated the game. Actually, he was playing as a sort of support striker to Wayne, and he did really brilliantly there. Some of the runs he made were so good to see. Really, he's just awesome.

Nani. I have never been a huge fan of his, but he's totally convinced me today. Two assists and a goal, what more do I want from a winger. He was fantastic. And what was great was that we actually had width today. He was consistently going to the touchline and putting the cross in. That was something that had been missing from our play the last few games, and I'm so delighted to see how good he is at that. Now if only he were to play like this every day....maybe with a few more games he just might. He gets special award for the trick that he did towards the end. You know the juggling the ball on his head? It completely pissed the Arsenal players, and made the victory that much sweeter.

Wazza. Another one that I love. So brilliant today. And we so missed him last game. He didn't allow Toure and Gallas to even breathe. Constantly at them from the word go. I'm so glad he scored, it's been a while. And he could have had a hattrick! Just play like that for the rest of the season, okay Wayne?

Ji. Another one who kept running the whole game. Didn't really create much, but was wonderfully energetic. He did run them ragged, and it probably helped the other players.

Pat. My little Pat, you are so awesome. Honestly, no wonder we were so terrible without him. Loved seeing him bomb down the left wing and completely outwit the Arse full-backs. I pray to god you never miss another game.

Rio + Vida. It's back to business as usual. Didn't have much to do really, but that was because they made it look so easy. I'm delighted that the last game was a freak performance and not the norm.

Wes. Another one I need to apologise to. After last week, I was convinced we needed another right back. But he did really well today, and thoroughly deserves his place. His crosses were really good too. I feel really horrible because I read somewhere that his Dad passed away three days before the derby, and yet he insisted on playing. And to think I was critisizing him. I'm so so sorry. He' s such a loyal and hardworking player, I really hope they sort out his contract soon.

EVDS Today made me glad that we have strong reliable Edwin instead of the nutcase that is Jens Lehmann. Honesly, VDS is the best. Didn't have much to do but looked really assured.

Wow, I've really gone over the top this time. But I am honestly so proud of them today. Well done boys, and keep up the good work. We need to show the same kind of passion in all our games from now till the end of the season. But right now I just want to keep this memory in my mind. We totally thrashed them!  Without Cris and Carlos. Ha, this was exactly what we needed. Thank you so much!

I hope all of you enjoyed the game. I'm off to bed now, it's 3:00 AM. But I couldn't sleep, I had to express my glee first. *hugs*

And I'm not going to spoil it about talking about Liverpool. That was a totally crap result. I'm glad this game made me forget it.
