Humm
Trying to get back into the LJ swing of things here folks, so here I go.
My family, John and I just returned from the beach this past Saturday and I wish I could say a fun time was had by all but that is not the case. My brother was in a terrible motorcyle accident the monday we were there. Lucky enough we were closer to him then if we had been at home, so dad was able to drive down to see him.
The highlight of the week for me was playing putt-putt in downtown Myrtle Beach. Why was something so simple so much fun? I WON! I have never won a game of putt-putt in my life. Michelle was the only one that even came close to me.
Now normaly I would have to turn around and go right into band camp. But this year I have a week off. Good thing, I seriously would kill about 95% of that band after a trip like that. I'm staying with Andy all week next week and I'm really looking forward to the time with her. I missed my girls tons the summer, including Becky and the ever busy Paige Preece. I'm hopeing to spend a good amount of time with them before I go back to the Suck-Fest know as college.
I'm going to have MORE than 6 girls in color guard this year. God has finally smiled upon me. The work I do it going to look so much better with more flags flying around (as long as they are togther). I'm so thrilled about this I will probably spend the entire week happy as a lark over it.
