57 Weeks?
So my journal is telling me that I haven’t updated in 57 weeks... That’s more than a year. A lot can happen in a year... so here it goes...
Last year at this time Sam and I weren’t doing so well... But we made it through and now we are much stronger for the things that happened.
Last April I started work as a CNA... Lots of fun. I was doing that up until a couple weeks ago, and now I work in Restorative care in the nursing home. Basically what I do is help people with their mobility and keep them moving so their muscles don’t get short and eventually they won’t be able to move. So like walking them around and doing range of motion and stuff like that... At least that’s what I thought I was signing up for... But in reality I am training with the director of the department and I am going to be taking over her job when she leaves this fall. So that’s a lot of paper work and care plans and nursing notes and a whole bunch of overwhelming stuff... but I’m learning and hopefully will get a BIG raise when I do this I do this stuff on my own.
Sam and I have been trying to have a baby for... let’s say forever... and it happened once, but we had a miscarriage at the beginning of January and we just started trying again. We tried the regular old way for a while but when it worked we did an IUI, (inter-uterine insemination) so that’s what we will be doing again this month... next week... so hopefully it works and stays and we will have a little person in about 10 months!
We have also been trying to reconnect with a lot of friends and have been hanging out a lot with Missy, Bill, Stephanie and Tessa Beaucage... That’s a lot of fun, except for I have been drinking a lot more with Bill and Tessa... which is fine... but I don’t know... I have mixed feelings about it. But fun times none the less.
So... Maybe ill try to update more often...... Seems stupid to have a LJ and come in and read everyone else’s and not update... But I do.
