Jared looked up to see Jensen looking at him. “You scared the crap out of me. I saw you laying in Mark’s arms, and my world stopped.”
“You sound like a girl, he joked.
“Jack and I need you.”
“I would love to marry you.”
“Good, and I would love to marry you, and I love my ring.” He showed Jensen his hand. “I’m sorry I asked first.”
Jensen laughed. “I should know by now not to wait or plan something out cause something will always beat me to it.”
“Why didn’t you tell me your parents kicked you out?”
Jensen held Jared’s hand. “Cause it’s my life, and I don’t want them to be in my life if they can’t see how much I love you and you love me. I love Jack with all my heart, and I don’t want him to be around people who think his father is a slut who got knocked up to ruin my life. Jack was a gift given to us.”
Jared stood up and kissed him. “I love you so much.”
“I love you both.” Jensen looked up at Jared. “Um…Jared. I was thinking maybe instead of you starting school in September that you could start in January?”
Jared sat down on the edge of the bed, holding Jensen’s hand. “I told you that this pregnancy wasn’t going to change my plans.”
“No, Jared. I’m saying you’re due just a week after your birthday, and you will just be a little over a month after giving birth when you start school. I was thinking maybe wait until January, then Jack will be almost six months old. By then, you can be fully recovered to focus completely on school work.”
“Um…I’m not sure.”
“Jared, I’ve already signed up for couple housing. If we get married, we can live together, and they already know about Jack, and they said they would be fine if you start in January. You would just need to keep passing grades and we keep the housing. Jack will have his own room.”
Jared smiled at how planned out Jensen had it. “I can’t let something mess this plan up. I’d love to have some time with Jack before I have to start school. So yes, I’ll start later, and I’ll marry you.”
“Before or after Jack?”
Jared bit down on his lip. “Um… I really don’t know. Do I want to have my figure back or just get married with a belly?”
“You can think on it. I just want to be married to you.”
Jared smiled. “Before.” Jensen nodded and kissed him. “We’ll just go to the courthouse.” Jensen just nodded again as the doctor and a nurse walked in.
“Jared, he needs his rest. This nurse will walk you back to the waiting room.” Jared nodded and kissed Jensen.
“I love you, and I’ll see you in the morning.” He walked out of the room with the nurse.
“Jensen, I warned you that you need to take care of yourself and get lots of rest.”
“I know, it’s just with work, school, and morning sickness; It was hard. How is the baby?”
“Underweight for this stage. Jensen you’re almost four months pregnant. Your morning sickness should be going away soon, and your energy should be getting better, but you need to take care of yourself. If that means less hours at work, then so be it. I’m giving you a month, and I want to see a noticeable weight gain with you and the baby.”
“I will do it. Thanks.”
“I’ll let you rest, and you can leave tomorrow, if you rest for the next few days.” Jensen nodded as the doctor walked out.
