I want to let you know that I have been offered and accepted the “Rocky Mountain IT Associate Coordinator” position with WFM. As of August 15th, my hubby an I will be relocating to Boulder, CO. I leave with both excitement and with regret. Obviously, I am excited to be starting a new job with new expectations. At the same time, I have some regrets and two of those regrets are moving away from Austin and you. I’ll certainly miss our normal “get-togethers” (aka known as group training!).
Of course, I can’t say good-bye in any final sense for that would be far too painful. What I am saying is that I look forward to when you come to visit (and train at altitude!), or when I come to visit you. As soon as I am settled, I will send you my new phone number and address. Until then, you can reach me on my current contact information.
“You never really leave a place or person you love, part of them you take with you, leaving a part of yourself behind.”
So, this isn’t really good-bye - it is only a note to say, see you real soon!
