Further Confusion 2008
Its been a very long time since I decided to write in here, I get alot of feedback that folks think I either died or in the hospital. Nope, I am fine. I get busier and busier lately where I am doing other things. Also, I had my computer simply die on me, I went awhile without a computer.
FC, I got ready, ground Italian roast coffee beans and had a good cup of coffee before leaving for the con. I took my time since I woke up late knowing registration opens at 5:00 PM, more like 6:00 PM and let up hours lator. I walked passed a girl with cheetah spots on her arm and I think oh wow how cute and it turned out to be Lavacat. It was great to have a warm reception the minute I walk into the con. We got to talk but it wasnt much since my minds not what it use to be but i am still awkward but nice *so i think?*. The Cadbury eggs I shipped nevermade it to Lava, that makes me sad, maybe the next batch will. I shared with her my original conbook submission of the kimono Panda in reeds, she loved it so i had to give it to her. I like it when i find something my friends like and give it to them.
At the front of the line is Snuggems, why didnt you let me cut in front of you *giggles* It took forever and it took alot out of me to stand around so long, my heels hurt from standing so long. I got to meet Lava's mother, what an awsome woman. She was warm and huggy (cold fingers). The weather stunk and i had an earfull for it, its not my fault. Normally the day is hot yet breezy and the night cold but not freezing. I met her mothers boyfriend, wow what am awsome guy. He was very kind. Well all four of us went out for dinner but no idea what to eat. I stayed quiet to see what the Lava eats, she likes Indian food *questionable bleh!*. I was gonna give it a shot and be openminded about it, we could not find the place too my appreciation. Okay the second selection took us to an industrial area, good god GARMIN makes the worst car navigation. Okay i guided us to Macaroni Grill and made it there almost lost, I hate my fuzzy memory but we got there sucessfully.
In the same lot, Micheal's, so not only were we gonna go eat, we had a convient supply run for Lava Cat, Sweetness. *sigh* I feel like I failed, we had a twenty minute wait for a table and we all wer starving, I allways feel guilty when things go wrong. Anyhow, one the best reasons to eat there, paper table cloths, crayons and drawinging. You cant make a better dining expeirience. Me and Lava got to doodle while waiting for dinner. We talked alot but most of what we talked about I didnt remember but I know a few of our conversations were about how poor sweet Lava got injuries as a child and i feel for her. How can so much happen to such a nice person. Anyway, We got stuffed off our asses, that did not stop us from Tarimisu. OMG what an awsome dinner, i was so happy to hangout with Lava and her mom. The Boyfriend was so awsome *wish I remember his name, my memories are so terrible* He paid for everything.
I will have to make a second LJ posting because so much happened and i feel hungry again. so there will be a part 2 to my FC expeirience.
