(no subject)
What's up peeps? It's been a while since I've seen you last. Here's my life in a nutshell:
My old manager came back to my work b/c she didn't get a district manager job so she is pissed and back with a vengence. She actually told me and the other assistant manager that when she gets back there will be hell to pay. She is not very nice to me but hasn't been too bad these last few days. I want to quit, I'm actively seeking employment, but I have to pretend like I'm still going into the management program just in case. It's just not what I'm excited or passionate about. It's also not challenging at all. I guess that sometimes you just have to learn the hard way, which I have totally accepted. It just sucks and there is a lot a lot a lot of change going on in every aspect of my life right now so it's very hard. I had a breakdown for the first time in like 6 months the other night, but I feel much better. I think I just needed to get some stuff out. I am also insanely busy right now doing a bunch of different crap and don't have much time to myself....which I need....so that is no good either.
Sarah, Diana, and I went to Myrtle Beach 2 weeks ago and with the exception of the car event, it was a nice time away from home. We went to Club Kryptonite and it was CRAZY! Diana and I were a tiny bit on the wild side. I saw a side of Diana that I hadn't seen in quite some time as we danced hard core to everything....even techno. At the end of the night Diana and I were literally just jumping around the dance floor, flailing everywhere to like 5 techno songs, and we LOVED it! Sarah met her a marine or something who was quite hot. I met a married coast guard guy who was crazy hitting on me until my girlfriends told me he had a ring on. I lifted up his finger and asked him if he was married. He asked me if that was a problem. We ran away shortly after that. The night was great, great fun and I miss nights out like that.
Next weekend I'm going to New York to visit M-L for her first official weekend living as a real grown-up in New York. I'm pretty pumped about it and I think it'll be a good time. We will celebrate and go to H&M. You can't get any better than that!
