Drax had bought himself a magnetic dart board in order to help him pass the time. Sure, the lack of pointy projectiles was annoying to him, but at least magnetic darts wouldn't allow him to do anything that would get him fired

Peter tapped at the door of Dean Drax's office, trying to figure out what exactly he had done.

"Peter Pevensie?" Drax asked. "Come in. Sit down."

[once_a_king]

"Yes, sir," Peter replied, taking the seat indicated. "You wanted to see me?"

[deandestroyer]

"I understand that you have a habit of organizing school events," Drax said. "I find myself in need of someone who can do just that."

[once_a_king]

"Err, for Student Council, sir, usually," Peter said. "But I'd be happy to help."

He'd be regretting that statement.

[deandestroyer]

"Excellent," Drax said, flashing an evil smile. "You'll be running a Renaissance Faire this Friday afternoon. You have the full resources of the school to make this happen."

Peter stared. "A Renaissance Faire?" he sounded disgusted. "Perhaps we could arrange a carnival of some type instead? For Midsummer's Eve?"

"It's too late to change the focus of the event. There's only enough time for you to organize it as a Renaissance Faire," Drax said.

Peter frowned. "Are there any guidelines to the event? Other than 'Renaissance Faire.'"

[deandestroyer]

"The park would be the most reasonable place to stage it," Drax said. "And I'd like something dragon-themed in there. Other than that, be creative."

[once_a_king]

"Dragon, park, very good, Dean," Peter said, trying not to be too annoyed at the idea. "I'm sure it will come off well."

"I have faith that you won't disappoint me," Drax said.
