The blackout was having very little effect on Drax at the moment. He preferred his office to be dark anyway. It made things seem more imposing. Having that forced at the moment would probably be a good balance to the fruit basket on his desk

Dean racked his brain but couldn't come up with anything he'd done lately that would warrant a visit to any of the powers that be. And besides if he had, wouldn't it have been Zoe he'd be seeing?

So it was a very puzzled Dean that knocked on Drax's door. "You wanted to see me, sir?"

"If you're Dean Winchester, then yes, I do," Drax said. "Enter. Sit."

[saltandammo]

Dean shrugged and did so. "Nice pineapple."

[deandestroyer]

"It was a gift," Drax said. "Do you know why I wanted to see you?" Drax loved that question.

[saltandammo]

"You've heard of my good looks and sparkling personality and wanted to see for yourself?"

[deandestroyer]

"Funny," Drax said, not smiling. "I thought you might prove useful to me for information. Don't make me rethink that."

[saltandammo]

"What kind of information?" Dean asked, leaning back in his chair, by all intents completely relaxed.

[deandestroyer]

"I'm new here. You're not. Hopefully you know more about this place than I do at the moment. I'm assuming you're one of our students trained in some sort of combat?" Drax asked. It wasn't a tough guess, what with a Winchester teaching Hunting last year and a course on firearms this summer.

"If you're talking hunting ghosts or demons, then yeah, I know my way around," Dean said a little warily.

[deandestroyer]

"Blessed creator, how many supernatural experts do we have here?" Drax asked. "Doesn't anyone in your generation specialize in aliens or common criminals?"

[saltandammo]

Dean shrugged. "Most of the aliens I've met have been perfectly nice," he said. "Not to mention hot. The ones that attacked during graduation being the exception."

[deandestroyer]

"Hot aliens. I don't imagine you're speaking of the Firelord," Drax said, just attempting to confirm that he was understanding Dean correctly.

[saltandammo]

"No, I'm talking about hot in the sense of really hot babes who just happen to be alien," Dean said with a suggestive grin.

[deandestroyer]

"I see," Drax said. Drax was slightly relieved that this was only the first time had had to witness a teenager's inability to keep their hormonal urges a secret from an authority figure. He had feared this would happen on Monday.

"So all you've taken out of the merging of alien cultures with yours is the relative attractiveness of females?"

[saltandammo]

"Well there was the Doctor, too," Dean said. "I TA'ed for him last semester. He was an alien too. And he taught about some of the enemies he'd faced which included other aliens."

[deandestroyer]

"So you've also picked up on combat both by and against aliens. That's an improvement," Drax admitted. "If aliens attacked you in this office right now, do you think you'd be able to defend yourslef?"
