Day three. One of my volunteer activities is working with terminally ill cancer patients and one of the kids called me in the middle of the night. They hardly ever take me up on the offer to call me anytime of the day or night, so I was honored to be able to help. I could hear the nervousness in his voice but I never said anything. I could tell he was heavily medicated. I want to wave a magic wand, but can't. When he finally hung up I couldn't sleep, so I got on and uploaded some photos...Obviously they went to my journal instead of my profile. I think I need some sleep...LOL

Funeral for soldier
This was from a funeral for a soldier that was killed in Iraq. He was only 19, and their only son. I volunteer and take pictures of the gravesite for different families (not just soldiers) because I know, from experience, they will not remember how beautiful it was. I had them blown up into 8X10's for the family. This is just one of the photos. God Bless our troops.
