More enticing tales of my exciting life... ha, yeah, not so much.
We had a Luau at the pool yesterday. One of my old Swim Team coaches was in charge of it. It was some kind of promotion for the Anti-Tobacco Foundation. I'm not really sure what the point of it was, but it was amazingly fun.
All of the lifeguards got free t-shirts, water bottles and some really amazing hats (I am going to express my inner dork and post a picture later.) They had really nice door prizes and I really wanted an Ipod Shuffle. Of course they were given away to little kids who didn't even know what they were. I really have terrible luck when it comes to winning things.
We closed early today because it was storming. I had mixed feelings about that. I always feel bad when we close early, because it always stops storming like an hour after we go home. However, I also feel bad just sitting there when I'm on the clock. It makes me feel so lazy.
I kind of wanted to go to the carnival tonight. It's the last day it's in town and I saw this really amazing Led Zeppelin clock in one of the game booths while I was there last night. I wanted to try to win it. Granted, I'm terrible at darts so I probably would have spent like $50 before I decided to give up, but still, it's Led Zeppelin!
