Long time no see...
Holy crap, it's been over 6 months since I last updated. And my last update was on a day I was depressed about being a white male between 18-35.
So, let's see. I know I don't update my own journal much, but I never could. I just keep living life. No need to record it really. I check all of my communities every day, but I guess that would not show would it.
I update now mostly to mention that I have been trying to diversify my communities lately, and join some more photography oriented groups. So far, no good. You must be a photographer to get in...but I have little way of proving that. Must I be a professional photographer? How about someone interested in it? An amateur? Just a looky-loo? Maybe it's because I never update. Oh well. "Bestshots" was my most recent attempt, and I was...shot...down...
Anyway, I was turned onto the community by Chris Ambler, and an issue he was having with a post of his there. Some troll was barking up his tree and ruining the mood, so I dropped my patented "troll bait" rebutle. Fun times. In any case, I looked through the community, and found a lot of ideas an inspiration. The moderator has some great work too. She has an amazing eye and either godly editting skills of luck with lighting. Definetly have to follow her work. No way to contact her directly though, so I can't really ask what is required for entry.
Yea, I have a website, yes it is being reworked and updated as we speak. I have a whole new layout, but twice the number of galleries to edit and post... No, I'm not pro, but I hope you don't need that for entry. I mean, I only have a Nikon D70 and $3000 worth of lenses and lights...I only having a passing interest in photoraphy, right? Oh well, someone will let me in. It would be nicer to simply check my friends page instead of having to click through a list of communities I keep. Or maybe I'll just have to start a seperate photo jounral, finish my site, and get my ass on onemodel like I want to before anyone will look at me. Oh well, hard to tell what I do since I never say, right?
