I am a golden god... Can you dig it?
So I recently passed another annum (that makes me 21... for the 12th time) and beyond the wonderful dinner out at "Outback" with some wonderful friends, Tyadda added 2 new addictions to my repertoire. In the first, I get to make cash by making beats on my guitar, in the other, I get to make cash by making beats with my guitar.
"Guitar Hero" helps make me feel almost cool, like I could actually make music or something (yeah, I had enough piano lessons as a child to know that is impossible, but its a great concept). With a fake guitar as a controller, and the ability to play as the Grim Ripper(sic). With great 80's rock-and-roll hits like "I love rock and roll", "Ironman", and "Bark at the Moon" it totally plays to my secret addiction to 'classic' rock. Tyadda happily giggles at me when I bang my head or slide my hand back and forth on the neck between beats.
On the other hand, Grand Theft 1979 or as they call it "The Warriors" (One of my favorite cult-ish movies), lets me express myself in a whole different way. Admittedly it is a much more bloody and less musical way. I also have to admit that although I was drawn into the story of the Warriors travels, I supported the Baseball Furies much more (I always keep up hope that the movie will change someday and the Baseball Furies will defeat the Warriors and the Riffs and take over New York... hasn't happened yet, but I keep up hope).
So until I finish both of these (which might take a while) keep it real, Boppers! CAN YOU DIG IT?
