... we're watching the tv

My sister has been trying to get me into Avatar: The Last Airbender for ages and while I've always found it well-written and watchable, it just didn't quite click with me at that 'MUST WATCH MORE' level for the longest time. But I think it's finally starting to grow on me? My biggest problem is never seeming to catch it in order. She tends to watch epic-length blocks, which I have not the patience for, so I walk through the room in various sections and go, WAIT, AANG HAS HAIR NOW? WHAT? WHY IS ZUKO THERE? WHAT HAPPENED TO IROH? (Because Iroh is teh best, I have observed this to be true.) The characters are all lovely but I have to admit I have some reservations about Aang/Katara, mostly because Aang looks about seven to me through the whole thing. :\

I'm beginning to think it won't be long before I sit down and watch the whole thing. IN ORDER. ...Or at least the final season.

Have been watching Seinfeld again (thank you, endless digital channel reruns!) and gah, it's been too long since I'd watched this show. The one with Jerry buying a car was on the other night, and it's just brilliant - George and his Twix fixation ("IT'S THE ONLY BAR WITH BISCUIT! I SEE BISCUIT!") and the Elaine/Puddy breakup and reconciliation... Seinfeld made bottle episodes into an artform.
