I just realised when my mental image of Thrawn is essentially Paget!Holmes with red eyes and blue skin. What.

But Thrawn and Pellaeon are basically Holmes and Watson in space, right? Right?

This absolutely calls for an AU where Thrawn survives and he and Pellaeon travel the galaxy solving crimes together.
