After a good deal of trawling through name origin sites for a name for a child OC, finally settling on one that was multi-language and unusual but not so odd that it sounded ridiculous, I today clicked on a link to a story I vaguely remember reading months ago and found a character with the same name. And as an OC relative to one of the main characters, no less. *facepalm*

At least it's just a name, not, oh, an entire plot line that is vaguely familiar-sounding for a reason. Still, bit not good, brain...
