This is taken from my English essay, which I think pretty much sums up life. Mine, anyway.
We spend the better part of our formative years learning to conform: to accept set standards without question and mold ourselves - our looks, personalities, even thoughts - to some average ideal. Aiding us on this quest are labels: labels for our looks, attitudes, likes, dislikes, for everything we are. I will spend the rest of my life trying to unlearn the boundaries of these labels.
