“So you’re trying to say that Ueda has rejected Yuichi..?”
Ryo just nods his head slowly on that question. Koki looks back at the now lovesick man inside that room. Yuichi is currently lying on his bed with his head tilting to the side, looking out at the window. Koki comes inside the room, with Junno tailed behind him. Ryo just stands still there, never intending to leave that place.
“Yuichi…”
Koki’s audible whisper kills the silence of that room. Junno sits on the chair besides the bed, staring at Yuichi intently. Just one description Junno could tell from Yuichi’s state right now; he’s dead.
Koki settled himself on the end of the bed when he got no response from the older man. He looks at his best friend intently. Yuichi is in the bad shape right now. His bandaged head with his naked arms got bruises all over it. It’s like he has been hit by a truck. But that’s not what Koki feared the most. He knows, the thing that hurts the older man the most is Ueda Tatsuya.
“Yuichi…. I’ve heard it all from Nishikido-kun. I’m……. sorry….” Koki whispered the last sentence, not knowing whether he’s saying the right thing. He steals a glance on Junno, trying to find some encouragement. Junno just smiles widely and gave him two thumbs up.
Yuichi tears his sight away from the window and stares back towards Koki. There’s no word he utters, just a small smile and he lays on his back, covered himself with the blanket. Koki and Junno looks at each other, as they can see how empty Yuichi’s eyes just now. And that smile, both Koki and Junno hate it for a reason.
“I’m not gonna forced you to spit it out, Yuichi. I just want you to know that you’re not alone. Both me and Junno will always be behind you.” Yuichi just hear in silence what Koki said to him.
“Guess we’ll take our leave now. Call us if you need anything.” Yuichi could hear the scratching noise of the chair being moved, and the sound of the door being closed. Then, the whole room becomes silent again.
He removed the blanket over him and stares right onto the white ceiling above him. He was glad enough that his friends are there when he needs them. He grabbed his phone on the desk besides the nightstand, and scroll down the name list of his friends until he reached Tatsuya’s name. He stares blinkingly on that name, wondering whether he should or not call the other boy.
Thinking about the best, he put the phone down on the desk again. He doesn’t want the other to feel miserable when he calls. As what Ryo had said, Tatsuya is currently blaming himself for the accident that happened this morning. So, Yuichi, being a good interpreter, took that as a sign that the other wants some space to calm himself.
Yuichi heaves a big sigh again. It’s hard to fall in love with someone. But then when he had found the right person to love, why does it seems like it’s getting harder.?

Kame runs his hand on his soft hair, ignoring the snows that started to fall hard. He creeps through the crowd on the busy pavement, aiming his way on his next destination, and also to his future. He has decides it all. His love and his heart is currently belongs to that certain someone. He can’t let him go. Although that would mean that he must let go of the other one.
He slows down his pace as he walks slowly along the park. He seriously doesn’t know whether his choice is the best one for now or not. But what he knows is that, the feeling he’s feeling right now is so strong towards the other.
Soon, Kame reached the appointed place for him and Koki to meet. He rubs his palms together, trying to produce some heat. He waits patiently for the other man to come. He smiles goofily as he can’t wait for the other’s reaction.
“Kazuya..?”
That voice. It can’t be.
“Jin…?”
Jin’s expression is so priceless as he stares penetrate into Kame’s soul, not believing that he’s confronting his once to be lover of him. Jin got up from the bench he sat on, and slowly makes his way towards the pretty boy.
Kame on the other hand, stood still on his spot, too stupefied when he saw someone he has not expected the most in front of him. He thinks he reads it right yesterday that Koki is the one who texted him and told him to meet the other here, right now. But the outcome is so unexpected and Kame could feel that he has somehow being betrayed.
“Kazu…. I…”
Before Jin could say anything, a tear trickle down Kame’s porcelain cheeks, giving Jin the shock of his life. He wants to come closer to develop the other into his arms, but all Kame did was back away from him. It was as if Jin is a virus that could infect anyone with his deadly poison.
“What are you doing here.?” Kame’s voice was so audible and fragile that Jin could feel his heart is breaking into pieces. Jin just did nothing as he stares back at Kame’s petite figure, eager to hug the other.
“You shouldn’t be here…. You shouldn’t…..” Kame keeps muttering that as his tears are still falling freely on his pretty face.
“Kazu…. Please… I know I’m at fault…. But please, give me another chance..to love you and give you a better love. I promise that I’ll never leave you again, nor will I forget about our promise and our bond. I love you, Kazuya…”
“Shut up.! Shut up, shut up, shut up..!! I don’t want to hear anything from you, you stupid liar…!” Jin could tell that Kame is in a hysterical state. Yet Jin still made an attempt to hold the other, which only resulted for him to be pushed not too gently by Kame.
“Stay away.! I hate you.!”
Jin stops dead when he heard that. He certainly didn’t expect that of all things. Kame hates him.?
“You…..you hate…me..?”
Kame also didn’t expect that to be spilled out from his mouth. He had promised himself that he’ll never utter those words to Jin, since he will always love the other; that’s what he said and vowed to himself almost 6 years ago. Kame slowly palms his mouth with his hands, not believing that he has said those words to the man he claimed to love the most.
“I….I….” Kame stuttered miserably when he realized what he said. He then hung his head low. “I’m sorry…”
Jin sighs when he heard that. He doesn’t know the main reason behind why Kame is acting so differently with him right now, but he knew one of the reasons is himself.
“Kazu… You’ve changed a lot, ne.?”
Kame looks up into Jin’s orbs, curious are spilled from his eyes. “I…. I know…”
Seeing that Kame is a little bit controlled now, Jin stepped forward and pulled Kame into a hug. His hands wrapped the petite Kame around the shoulders; giving an image of how small and fragile Kame is right now. Jin has always missed this, the feeling of hugging the most precious person in his life. But he could feel something is lacking here.
On the other hand, Kame is still freezing unmoving on his spot in Jin’s arms. He just lets the other hugs him tightly, since him after all, has been missing this warmness since almost half a year ago. Kame slowly lifts up his hand to cling on Jin’s jacket, not willing to let this warmness go. He knows that deep inside, he still has a remaining of love towards the older man.
“Where have you been.? I missed you….” Kame said after a long silence treatment.
Jin rests his chin on Kame’s head as he sighs deeply. He has been expecting that question from Kame, but still, he has no relevant answer to that question. He hates the fact that he can’t lie to Kame.
“Sorry, but I have no answer to that…..” Jin could feel that Kame’s grips on his jacket started to loosen up. “Just call me a stupid, Kazu.. I don’t know what happened to me that I have a gut to leave you.. I’m so sorry…”
“It’s okay…” Kame pushed himself away from Jin as he said that. There’s a smile on his face, showing that he has somehow get over the stupidity of Jin. “I know you’ve a problem with your father. I’ve forgiven you……since long time ago…”
Jin couldn’t help but form a smile on that; a real smile after a long time. He glad that Kame has forgiven him, but why is he feeling something weird right now.?
“Kazu… are we still…”
Kame knows what Jin is about to ask, but still he keeps it silent, as if he doesn’t want to answer that question.
Kame looks up with a sorry look. His eyes portrayed nothing but guilty. “Jin… I’m so sorry…”
Just by hearing that, Jin knew what Kame meant. He smiles solemnly and he slowly yet lovingly kissed Kame on his forehead. Yet, he didn’t realized that a tear trickle down on his own cheek.

“You’re with that face again, Koki….”
Junno sing song the sentence as he looks up from his comic to only see Koki is supporting his gloomy face with his palm. He has been doing that since this morning, staring into nothing, playing with the snow gloomily, sulking whenever Junno asked him about Kame.
“I’m such a baka..!” Koki screamed out all of a sudden, startling the KY Junno and causing him to throw his comic accidentally.
Junno rubs his frantic chest while staring at his best friend. “Keep it cool, man. You’re startling me like hell.”
Koki ignores that as he slumped his face square on the table at the park outside their college. The loud thump sound produced somehow made Junno to cringe a bit and wondering how hurt it must be. And of course, we could see right now how devastated Koki is.
“Why did you let him go then.?” Junno asked while collecting the abandoned comic on the snowy grass. He dusts off the snow on the book, making sure that it’s not wet yet.
“I don’t know…. Geezz… I’m so stupid. I just wanna do good by give Kazuya back to his lover.”
Junno smirks a bit on that. “You.? Doing good.? The last thing I would expect…”
Out of blue, Junno yelps loudly in pain when something kicked his leg hard. No need for a guess, Junno just rubs his legs with a painful face and warned himself to cross-legged when he sits on the bench fronting to Koki. Who knows what the other might do below this table.?
“Kazu-chan loves him, I know that. I’m fighting a losing game against that Akanishi boy. There’s no way I could win Kazu’s heart when his heart is currently attached to that boy. What am I thinking on the first place when I thought that I’d have a chance to love him.? I’m such a stupid; nobody would like to be with me, the gangster wannabe.”
Koki just kept blabbering into nothingness with his head still face square on the table. His voice sometimes being muffled by the snow on the table, but could still be defined clearly by the listener.
“When I first saw him, I knew that I’ve fallen for him. Not because of his face, of course, since his face is a bit weird sometimes… he’s too beautiful to be a guy….” Koki paused a bit to giggle slowly when he remembered how weird Kame looks on their first meeting. “But still, that weird face is the main reason that I addicted to him. When he smiles, the only thing that I saw at that time is an angel. I seriously have no idea how he could stick up with me…”
Koki sighs his mostly deep sigh ever. He heard nothing from Junno, and thought that the other is either listening contently to him or he just being his KY self and reading his comic.
“Hey… Why are you so quiet.?”
No response was heard from his best friend. Koki was a bit pissed off at the thought of Junno is sleeping while he’s talking. With a rage filled his face, Koki lifts up his head.
“Oi.! Junn…..”
As soon as he was about to fire mouth the other boy, Koki’s mouth was shut up when he saw the person who is currently facing him. His mouth gaping like a goldfish seeing none other than Kamenashi Kazuya is staring deeply at him with his goofy smile.
“You…” Koki stands up quickly when he realized that Junno is nowhere to be seen. “What did you do to Junno..? Where is he..?” Koki asked quite hysterically.
Kame giggles cutely seeing Koki’s antic. Though some might say that this guy is a gangster wannabe and quite a sadistic especially to his friends, he knows that deep inside, Koki is such a softie when it comes to his friends.
“He’s safe, don’t worry.” Kame said calmly as he too, stands up from his seat which was previously occupied by Junno.
“What.? You think I might eat your friend up.?”
Koki just stares wide eyed at the boy in front of him. “N…no..b…but..” heaves in his deepest breath, Koki bursts out. “Did you….heard what I said just now.?”
Tilting his head to the side, Kame closed the distance between him and Koki with a cheeky smile. “Well… Yeah, I guess I heard it.”
Koki felt like he wants to bury his head deep into the snowy grass underneath him when he heard that. His face flushing red at the realization of Kame heard his confession.
“I…I didn’t mean to…..What are you doing here anyway.?” Koki asked when he realized that Kame supposed to be with someone else right now.
“We promised to meet up today right.?” Kame flashed his innocent face as he said that.
Koki hung his head low. Yeah, they’re supposed to meet up today. But Koki made a big mistake by setting up a meet between Kame and his lover, Jin, unconscious to them. He had Jin’s number from Ryo and therefore, used that opportunity to unite this lover back together.
“Why…?” Kame asked, his smile never leaves his face. “Why did you do that.?”
“Because….” Koki looks up to stares right onto Kame’s orbs.
“Because I love you so much, Kazuya.! I love you so much that I can’t even stand a minute seeing that gloomy face after you met up your lover. I can’t stand seeing you cried every day, cursing your boyfriend when the truth is, you’re deeply in love with him. I know that you tried to hate him, but you can’t because the thing you hate the most is hating your most precious person in your life. Isn’t it.?”
Kame just hears intently the things that Koki said. He has no intentions to interrupt the other since some of the statements hit him right on his face.
“I’m….I’m so sorry that I even appear in your life, Kazu-chan. I shouldn’t be right.? I came at the wrong time, and the result is, I’m such a nuisance for your relationship. I’m so sorry..!” Koki said as he bowed towards Kame.
“Don’t be….”
Hearing the melodic voice of Kame, Koki slowly stands up straight from his bowing position. Kame shot him with his angelic smile as slowly, tear started to form on his eyes.
“You’re too kind, Koki-kun..”
Koki’s heart frantically searching for a thing to stop the tear formed on Kame’s eyes from falling again. He hates seeing how fragile Kame is right now. Koki was about to say something when Kame shuts him up with a finger across his lips.
“I’ve heard it all from Junno. I’m not blaming you for coming into my life, but I’m blaming myself for being so fragile that even a kind hearted person like you could fall for me. At the first time I met you, I don’t think I deserved to be friend with you. You’re too good to be with me. But after we are friend for a long time, I feel something deep inside my heart. Jin’s place is now in my head, not in my heart…”
Neglect the silence there, Koki could feel his heart is beating in synchronizes with Kame’s heartbeat. He could feel the light of hope is enlightened both him and Kame’s way.
“Because right now, you’re the one who occupied my heart….” Kame leans up and pecks Koki’s cheek cutely.
“I think I have fallen for you, Koki-kun….”
Koki’s freezing on his spot when Kame pecked his cheek and uttered those mesmerizing words that he never thought could be heard. His blushing cheeks started to get hotter and he swears he could feel his heart almost leaping out from his rib cage. That’s the effect of this boy to him.
Kame, seeing no response from Koki, waves his hand playfully in front of Koki. But Koki is still freezing on his spot with his hand clutching his cheek. Kame started to worry and he frantically shakes the dreamy Koki to get the other back to earth.
“Oi..! Koki-kun… Don’t pass out on me… I just confessed to you, baka….”
Not far from there, Junno laughs loudly seeing the newly born lovebirds. He sits casually on the grass with a certain someone beside him, both ogling on the new couple. Junno kept his grin on as he stares at the certain someone beside him. He then flashed his wide grin towards the other when they met eye to eye.
“I don’t know why you do this, Akanishi-kun, but thanks…”
Jin heaves his nth sighs with a broken look. An awkward smile decorates his handsome face, and as ignorant as Junno could be sometimes, he still knew that deep inside, Jin is hurting seeing his precious lover with another man.
“Don’t thank me. I did this for his own good. I am no longer occupying his heart; I obviously knew that since the first time I met him after 6 months hiatus. I’m glad that he has finally found his happiness, although it’s not me who he chose. But when I front the truth, it’s hurt like hell….” Jin’s voice seems broken at the end as he keeps watching Kame who is still shaking the obviously passed out Koki.
Junno can’t help but pats the broken man on his shoulder trying to coax Jin’s miserable heart. Truth to be told, Junno has no experience in dealing with this kind of thing. He scratched his head slightly, clueless on his next move.
“Ne… Akanishi-kun.. Losing Kamenashi-kun doesn’t mean you have lost the right to live your life fully. I bet he also doesn’t want to see you moping on him. When he left you, he gave you a chance to find your new happiness, and maybe a new love. Because he knew he can’t give you the love that you wanted since his love is now in Koki’s hand.” Junno said wisely as he steals a glance on Kame and Koki.
“I know it’s hurt seeing your precious one is gone to someone else, but isn’t it more hurting to know that you are hurting over nothing as it’s obvious now that Kamenashi-kun has move on with someone else.? Just move on, Akanishi-kun. I know you can do it.” With a wide grin pasted on his handsome face, Junno gave Jin a friendly punch on his shoulder.
Jin just stares wide eyed at the statements that Junno had give him. Finally, a smile crept on his face, although Junno can’t tell whether it’s a fake or a genuine one, he knew at least Jin is trying to remedy his broken heart.
“I thought you’re known as the most ignorant person among your friends. Where did that come from.?” Jin teased Junno with a smirk.
Junno pouts cutely on that. “I’m not as ignorant as that. I still have some sentiment, thank you very much.”
Jin rolls his eyes in mocking. “Yeah right…”
“So, are we friends now..??” Junno asked eagerly as he leans in closer towards Jin.
Seeing the closeness, Jin shoved Junno’s forehead not too gently and laughs when seeing the younger man falls square on his back due to the push he gave.
“Of course..”

Junno sing song the sentence as he looks up from his comic to only see Koki is supporting his gloomy face with his palm. He has been doing that since this morning, staring into nothing, playing with the snow gloomily, sulking whenever Junno asked him about Kame.
“I’m such a baka..!” Koki screamed out all of a sudden, startling the KY Junno and causing him to throw his comic accidentally.
Junno rubs his frantic chest while staring at his best friend. “Keep it cool, man. You’re startling me like hell.”
Koki ignores that as he slumped his face square on the table at the park outside their college. The loud thump sound produced somehow made Junno to cringe a bit and wondering how hurt it must be. And of course, we could see right now how devastated Koki is.
“Why did you let him go then.?” Junno asked while collecting the abandoned comic on the snowy grass. He dusts off the snow on the book, making sure that it’s not wet yet.
“I don’t know…. Geezz… I’m so stupid. I just wanna do good by give Kazuya back to his lover.”
Junno smirks a bit on that. “You.? Doing good.? The last thing I would expect…”
Out of blue, Junno yelps loudly in pain when something kicked his leg hard. No need for a guess, Junno just rubs his legs with a painful face and warned himself to cross-legged when he sits on the bench fronting to Koki. Who knows what the other might do below this table.?
“Kazu-chan loves him, I know that. I’m fighting a losing game against that Akanishi boy. There’s no way I could win Kazu’s heart when his heart is currently attached to that boy. What am I thinking on the first place when I thought that I’d have a chance to love him.? I’m such a stupid; nobody would like to be with me, the gangster wannabe.”
Koki just kept blabbering into nothingness with his head still face square on the table. His voice sometimes being muffled by the snow on the table, but could still be defined clearly by the listener.
“When I first saw him, I knew that I’ve fallen for him. Not because of his face, of course, since his face is a bit weird sometimes… he’s too beautiful to be a guy….” Koki paused a bit to giggle slowly when he remembered how weird Kame looks on their first meeting. “But still, that weird face is the main reason that I addicted to him. When he smiles, the only thing that I saw at that time is an angel. I seriously have no idea how he could stick up with me…”
Koki sighs his mostly deep sigh ever. He heard nothing from Junno, and thought that the other is either listening contently to him or he just being his KY self and reading his comic.
“Hey… Why are you so quiet.?”
No response was heard from his best friend. Koki was a bit pissed off at the thought of Junno is sleeping while he’s talking. With a rage filled his face, Koki lifts up his head.
“Oi.! Junn…..”
As soon as he was about to fire mouth the other boy, Koki’s mouth was shut up when he saw the person who is currently facing him. His mouth gaping like a goldfish seeing none other than Kamenashi Kazuya is staring deeply at him with his goofy smile.
“You…” Koki stands up quickly when he realized that Junno is nowhere to be seen. “What did you do to Junno..? Where is he..?” Koki asked quite hysterically.
Kame giggles cutely seeing Koki’s antic. Though some might say that this guy is a gangster wannabe and quite a sadistic especially to his friends, he knows that deep inside, Koki is such a softie when it comes to his friends.
“He’s safe, don’t worry.” Kame said calmly as he too, stands up from his seat which was previously occupied by Junno.
“What.? You think I might eat your friend up.?”
Koki just stares wide eyed at the boy in front of him. “N…no..b…but..” heaves in his deepest breath, Koki bursts out. “Did you….heard what I said just now.?”
Tilting his head to the side, Kame closed the distance between him and Koki with a cheeky smile. “Well… Yeah, I guess I heard it.”
Koki felt like he wants to bury his head deep into the snowy grass underneath him when he heard that. His face flushing red at the realization of Kame heard his confession.
“I…I didn’t mean to…..What are you doing here anyway.?” Koki asked when he realized that Kame supposed to be with someone else right now.
“We promised to meet up today right.?” Kame flashed his innocent face as he said that.
Koki hung his head low. Yeah, they’re supposed to meet up today. But Koki made a big mistake by setting up a meet between Kame and his lover, Jin, unconscious to them. He had Jin’s number from Ryo and therefore, used that opportunity to unite this lover back together.
“Why…?” Kame asked, his smile never leaves his face. “Why did you do that.?”
“Because….” Koki looks up to stares right onto Kame’s orbs.
“Because I love you so much, Kazuya.! I love you so much that I can’t even stand a minute seeing that gloomy face after you met up your lover. I can’t stand seeing you cried every day, cursing your boyfriend when the truth is, you’re deeply in love with him. I know that you tried to hate him, but you can’t because the thing you hate the most is hating your most precious person in your life. Isn’t it.?”
Kame just hears intently the things that Koki said. He has no intentions to interrupt the other since some of the statements hit him right on his face.
“I’m….I’m so sorry that I even appear in your life, Kazu-chan. I shouldn’t be right.? I came at the wrong time, and the result is, I’m such a nuisance for your relationship. I’m so sorry..!” Koki said as he bowed towards Kame.
“Don’t be….”
Hearing the melodic voice of Kame, Koki slowly stands up straight from his bowing position. Kame shot him with his angelic smile as slowly, tear started to form on his eyes.
“You’re too kind, Koki-kun..”
Koki’s heart frantically searching for a thing to stop the tear formed on Kame’s eyes from falling again. He hates seeing how fragile Kame is right now. Koki was about to say something when Kame shuts him up with a finger across his lips.
“I’ve heard it all from Junno. I’m not blaming you for coming into my life, but I’m blaming myself for being so fragile that even a kind hearted person like you could fall for me. At the first time I met you, I don’t think I deserved to be friend with you. You’re too good to be with me. But after we are friend for a long time, I feel something deep inside my heart. Jin’s place is now in my head, not in my heart…”
Neglect the silence there, Koki could feel his heart is beating in synchronizes with Kame’s heartbeat. He could feel the light of hope is enlightened both him and Kame’s way.
“Because right now, you’re the one who occupied my heart….” Kame leans up and pecks Koki’s cheek cutely.
“I think I have fallen for you, Koki-kun….”
Koki’s freezing on his spot when Kame pecked his cheek and uttered those mesmerizing words that he never thought could be heard. His blushing cheeks started to get hotter and he swears he could feel his heart almost leaping out from his rib cage. That’s the effect of this boy to him.
Kame, seeing no response from Koki, waves his hand playfully in front of Koki. But Koki is still freezing on his spot with his hand clutching his cheek. Kame started to worry and he frantically shakes the dreamy Koki to get the other back to earth.
“Oi..! Koki-kun… Don’t pass out on me… I just confessed to you, baka….”
Not far from there, Junno laughs loudly seeing the newly born lovebirds. He sits casually on the grass with a certain someone beside him, both ogling on the new couple. Junno kept his grin on as he stares at the certain someone beside him. He then flashed his wide grin towards the other when they met eye to eye.
“I don’t know why you do this, Akanishi-kun, but thanks…”
Jin heaves his nth sighs with a broken look. An awkward smile decorates his handsome face, and as ignorant as Junno could be sometimes, he still knew that deep inside, Jin is hurting seeing his precious lover with another man.
“Don’t thank me. I did this for his own good. I am no longer occupying his heart; I obviously knew that since the first time I met him after 6 months hiatus. I’m glad that he has finally found his happiness, although it’s not me who he chose. But when I front the truth, it’s hurt like hell….” Jin’s voice seems broken at the end as he keeps watching Kame who is still shaking the obviously passed out Koki.
Junno can’t help but pats the broken man on his shoulder trying to coax Jin’s miserable heart. Truth to be told, Junno has no experience in dealing with this kind of thing. He scratched his head slightly, clueless on his next move.
“Ne… Akanishi-kun.. Losing Kamenashi-kun doesn’t mean you have lost the right to live your life fully. I bet he also doesn’t want to see you moping on him. When he left you, he gave you a chance to find your new happiness, and maybe a new love. Because he knew he can’t give you the love that you wanted since his love is now in Koki’s hand.” Junno said wisely as he steals a glance on Kame and Koki.
“I know it’s hurt seeing your precious one is gone to someone else, but isn’t it more hurting to know that you are hurting over nothing as it’s obvious now that Kamenashi-kun has move on with someone else.? Just move on, Akanishi-kun. I know you can do it.” With a wide grin pasted on his handsome face, Junno gave Jin a friendly punch on his shoulder.
Jin just stares wide eyed at the statements that Junno had give him. Finally, a smile crept on his face, although Junno can’t tell whether it’s a fake or a genuine one, he knew at least Jin is trying to remedy his broken heart.
“I thought you’re known as the most ignorant person among your friends. Where did that come from.?” Jin teased Junno with a smirk.
Junno pouts cutely on that. “I’m not as ignorant as that. I still have some sentiment, thank you very much.”
Jin rolls his eyes in mocking. “Yeah right…”
“So, are we friends now..??” Junno asked eagerly as he leans in closer towards Jin.
Seeing the closeness, Jin shoved Junno’s forehead not too gently and laughs when seeing the younger man falls square on his back due to the push he gave.
“Of course..”
