NAOI IS LIKE ... basically, he is a little kid who was so tired of wanting to be loved and accepted for who he was and believing his life was a big joke that he became bitter and put up a front of a douchebag with a God complex, which he ended up buying into because he didn't know what else to do. He still thought his life was a big joke, though! It was a lie. He was never acknowledged, never needed, never praised (except once), never loved, and for a good chunk of his life he was pretending to be his deceased twin brother, because everyone wanted his twin, not him! He thought he could become acknowledged if he surpassed his brother, but he realized he was just fooling himself and became angry.
BAWW ASIDE, Naoi is also an idiot! A very serious idiot with hypnosis and a God complex. This is a terrible combination. He has a ridiculously high opinion of himself and low opinion of everyone not Otonashi, because Otonashi Jesus'd him into ... not being "better," but understanding that someone was capable of understanding him, not just the front he put up, not Naoi Ayato the VP of the Student Body, but Naoi who lived the way he did, and someone, knowing all that, was able to say that his life did have meaning. It restored his faith enough that he now has a little bit more self-worth, and now he can move on and be reincarnated successfully. But for everyone else, they better prostrate themselves before him or suffer his haughty, self-important wrath. /RAMBLES

I SORTA HAVE HEADCANON, I SORTA DON'T. I don't have anything that makes-up a backstory for him because... I don't have many hints. BUT. I HAVE RANDOM THINGS THAT I THOUGHT UP, LIKE. JUST NOW.
1) If Lance seriously had a sucky past/childhood (which, I imagine he did!), Lance is mostly cheerful now PROBABLY because he's grateful he got to have a second chance in life! Y'know, 'ty god ilu i'm going to make the best of this by being genuinely caring and stuff!!' That's how I imagine it. :|a
2) Lance's bang isn't natural; he wakes up especially early in the morning to perfect it~
3) Lance takes his horoscopes v. srsly. If his horoscope told him to paint his nails, LANCE WOULD DO IT (he wears gloves so that would be a-ok anyway).
4) Camp!canon: Lance totally has a blog where he talks about himself and his day, and posts pics of himself.
5) Lance believes in ~love-at-first-sight~. HE IS A BISHOP, so he's not concerned with love and the likes, but if someone came to him and said "OMG I THINK I LIKE THIS GUY/GIRL I FELL HEAD-OVER-HEELS FOR HIM/HER" Lance would tell him that "IT'S LOVE, IT'S FATE, OMG TRUE LOVE, GO WITH IT, BUY HIM/HER FLOWERS."
6) Lance probably picks through the romance novels at the library when he doesn't have anything to do.
Tell me about Ageha's, Kuroyuri's, and Naoi's impressions of each other. :3

I ACTUALLY HAVE PARTIAL HEADCANON FOR THIS. Kuroyuri and Naoi get into arguments because Naoi is obnoxious and all about Being God and Kuroyuri dislikes both those things!! Sie threatens to kill him, he threatens to kill hir, and Ageha threatens to kill both of them for being so obnoxious and stupid. BASICALLY my characters never like each other, ever.
WHAT WOULD TRIP POSEIDON OUT THE MOST ICLY?
