Oh, For the love of updating.
sheesh has it really been 3 years since I posted here? Ha! I might have to fix that. But being a Double-major in college might make this a portfolio page with some artwork and writing sprinkled in. And I think I'm quite alright with that. I have been using facebook for a while now, but I use it very professionally with only updates on school life cause of the family and friends that view it.
It might be nice to just relax and post more freely here, even if I rant a little(okay, I rant ALOT). Better yet, lets see if I can get any friends to watch me here.Until I think of things I can put up I'll end off with a little poem I wrote a while ago:
“Battle”
The hand moves,
The brain does not think,
The heart does not feel
Things just appear on paper in tune with blaring music,
Causing the hand to move as if possessed
Unable to stop for fear of thought,
Not wanting to feel what the heart wishes to scream
The pen is mightier than the sword of both the heart and brain,
For as long as it keeps moving,
And the music keeps playing
One doesn’t have to worry about reality,
If only for a short time
Desperation sets in when the hand finally tires and cannot battle two enemies at once
Reality sets back in
But the war isn’t over.
The hand refuses to be a fallen comrade forever
