First Entry - GQ Dream
First entry.... Well I thought I would start with the dream I had last night since it was one of the happiest dreams I think I have ever had (I even woke up in a good mood). Some background infot o start - The main character is me and a guy named Collin, who from this moment on will be referred to as GQ. The Dream takes place in three locations 1. a highschool (not my highschool and this one could probably never exist) 2. a hotel and 3. my house (yeah like I would ever live in a house). There is a slight break in the dream that doesn't make sense and may become confusing the first half all took place in a hotel, where the world in my mind seems to stretch my imagination, then all the sudden my dream jumps to the highschool, where truth of reality seems to only stretch to a believable degree, it continues where the first left off just different location and seems to only evolve the relationship between the two main characters. It really has no specific protagonist or antagonist (finally a dream with no bad guy, a first for me).
It all starts with me playing EQ (yes i can be a dork) and meeting another player, a wood elf male to be specific, who takes an interest in me. We decide to meet in real life for some unknown reason at a hotel, which reminds me of an old movie theater for some reason, it has the thin deep-red matted down carpet and has the sweet smell of old popcorn and milk duds (don't know if you can actually smell in dreams but that is the distinct feeling that it left behind). When we meet it is like lust at first sight (God he had so many similarities with a certain movie star who goes by Collin and been on GQ many a time, but he also reminded me alot of my ex who has no similarities with that same movie star). We decide to get a room and on the way he tells me that the people that run the motel put cameras in the rooms on the second floor (don't know if this was my real life mind interferring to add to the situation as it happened or just a blog). Well we go to the room and do who know what (hehe) and on the way back down I get out of the elevator and GQ gets stuck in it and everyone begins to freak. Being the confrontational type of guy that I am, I start yelling at the people in the elevator to take care of it and to get him out, which they finally do. This is where the first part of the dream ends - yes I cut it short but only because i am having problems putting into words all the more abstract things that happened and some of it didn't even make sense to mean so live with the broad stroke up to this point.
Well then all of the sudden i am in an upscale highschool. Well i would definetly have to say i was not one of the more popular kids there, i was in the middle where the popular kids knew my name and the kids on the lower end of the ladder wanted to be me so that they would be recognized and validated by the popular kids. Well I am walking through what appears to be the library when GQ approaches me and pulls me between some book selves towards a bathroom. When we get behind closed doors he begins to kiss me. Seeing as alot of this dream will be in this same bathroom time for some info on it. First it has really nice upholstered chairs and plush carpeting throughout most of it, there are stalls toward one end and even private shower stalls, the sinks are marble and the lighting is a soft glow. Told you it was unlike any school i have heard of, hell i would be happy if that was my real life bathroom. Well he pushes me into one of the chairs and sits down across from me and ask me why i have been avoiding him. I tell him i can't keep hiding everything from everyone just so we can see each other(obviously someone is still in the closet in my dream). We sit in there and make out some more and he says he has to get to his chem class, so i return to the library and sit between one of the stacks. Many other people begin to show up and sit around studing or socializing and the whole time i think about him. When class is let out he comes and finds me and says he wants to go home with me. I am hesitant at first because i say i have a roommate named Matt (who is my RL boyfriend, but not in my dream) and that it may not be safe for his secret if he come home with me. He says he doesn't care and that it was time that he gets to be with me. As we are walking down the stairs to the first floor of the school he puts his arm over my shoulder and across my chest and i was like you can't do that people will know and say something. He is like well aren't you worried about yourself and i tell him that i am already out they already know and he ask how they reacted when they found out about me and i gave my classic response "Most of them knew before I did", so they didn't care, and he says well now i don't care either. This is when i wake up.
Now that was not the whole dream there are a few intimate moments i would rather not share and there are alot of things that happen out of order in the dream that don't seem to have a sense of symmetry, like i meet his parents at the school and it turns out they are wealthy and politicians of some sort. He buys me a classic mustang towards the end but all that leads up to this event aren't real clear in my head, we get a ride from some lady who says she knows my roommate and when we get in the car she asked how long we had been dating like she had some gigantic gaydar go off the minute she saw us (because int he dream the whole thing is i am having to hide the fact that i am gay or act like we don't know each other to save his reputation). When spend alot of time in that bathroom talking and making out, at one point we go to kiss and 2 guys walk in and almost catch us and we have to play it off that we are standing so close.
So you can see maybe why i woke up this morning in such a good mood and why i said this is probably one of the best dreams i have had in along time.
