5 15 and i forget what i was going to ramble about. so here are some other things to fill that void.
got a game night in with the ladies and big rich. very proud that all came together. next time we do it at mi casa and make sure all of our crapworks. after games we got to catch up on various things. sort of cleared up my head on a few matters.
ps3s are apparently becoming extinct. mikey can't find one, and ign did some sketch about it. to me it's all about money for sony. they hold out now, when a high profile game hits the shelves, and then later on they open the flood gates, wherein everyone picks one out of fear of another ps3 drought. it's clever marketing if you're not looking at it close enough.
the other day i got through the subspace embassy on ssbb. when it was all said and done, and sonic was playable, i had to stand back and ask myself, "what the fuck did i just get done doing?". maybe it's a street fighter thing where you button mash and then head online to find out that there was some form of a story, but you just did'nt pay enough attention. but no, thats not the case at all. in a nutshell, the evil guys are evil and rock out in a pimp spaceship because master hand told them too, ganon betrays them because...triforce related incident? good guys are being trophyized because...triforce related? and in the end a butterfly man is shown up by sonic who, for some reason, lives in the negative zone? yeah i don't know. in the end i just wanted to play as toon link, and they would'nt let me. and i get having players do this so they don't have to leave the system on for an hour to unlock a character, but at least try. yes, without a doubt, if you put super smash bros on anything it will get sold, but give your fanbase a little more credit nintendo. i miss the toys in a room that got up and fought motif. that's simple and chaotic fun. putting the epilouge in latin for no other reason than to manufature a sense of deepness? foul nintendo.
