DELMAR! DELMAR! LEFT! LEFT!
it all began when i got a phone call last wednesday. it was nicole asking me if i wanted to go to st.louis to see new found glory. im always down for that kind of stuff, especially when it comes to one of my favorite bands. i didnt really have money but i didnt care. the drive was about 4 hours. we get to the venue and had to pay extra fees for not being 21 and got yelled at for not being 21 from a security gaurd. we then realize that we couldnt go to the pit cause we werent 21? so we were freaking out and we see chad and tell him what is happening. nicole tells him that wee were the girls yelling "never give up" at the chicago show 2 weeks before this one. and remembered us. he got security and was like what the hell. we finally realized there was a ramp to go down to the floor. so that was embarrassing. but the guy wasnt even letting people in anyway.
new found glory started to play and it was so much fun. stl is really different because all 4 of us were in the front and center and there werent even people pushing and i was comfortable the whole time. weird. during the encore chad came out and was like, "so we played a show in chicago and there were these girls yelling this song to play and i told thenm we would play it but never did. THEN after the show she messaged me and was yelling at me really bad. so heres "never give up" but if we mess this up its oging to be your fault because we havent played this in a wihle." jordan was threatening nicole with his lighter and then threw it to nicole. haha.
after that everything was a blur to me. we started driving home and we get to bloomington il and after getting down to 'blame it on the alcohol' i see a cop come out of nowhere. great. i was going 81 in a 65. and denied it. he yelled at me to get out of the car and made me sit in the car with him. he definitely was trying to mack on us. gross. we became bffs in a matter of 15 minutes but still gave me a $75 dollar ticket. what the hell.
so my current financial situation is fucked seeing how the week before i went to like 5 shows in milwaukee and chicago and no work. friday my check was 138 bucks. lame.
i dont regret any of it.
