(no subject)
so. this is a rough draft of the next year.
in two weeks or so i will have my own radio show.which i am beyond excited for.
in 2 1/2 or 3 months (maybe less) i will have an internship at a radio or tv station.
in october or november, i will graduate school and then i will have a foreal job by the end of the year beginning of next year.
we'll see.
today was the first real day for me and i sat in the back where all the dbags who talk about sports all day not knowing. like i seriously was surrounded by them and wanted to kill myself. but then i had to give a speech on a person who i met or encountered that was famous. i gave the story when i talked to PW on the phone and got tickets to their show. and then they took 2 minutes out of their sports talk to talk to me about how cool my story was. ahahahah. yeah...fucking LAME.
today at work i was talking to my boss/owner of my place of work and he was telling me how he had his own radio show and everything when he was in college. and told me he that the first song i should play is 'great dj' by the ting tings.
first of all, this man is 37 years owns three coffee shops and is single and he tells me he likes the ting tings? WTF. i didnt really know waht to say to that. all that was running through my mind was "fruit cake". but after that he redeemed himself by telling me that one of his all time fave bands was the replacements and one of their songs was the first song he played on his show. and then proceeded to tell me that he wanted to make his own movie about the life of the replacements which was kind of cool.
i am seriously going to start updating this thing more.
