I don't like my entries getting out of order, so before I post my Osaka review, here is my Takayama post! :D Not as exciting as Osaka, but still fun.
On Thursday I went with Hiroko, my occassional-assistant-manager (who is THE CUTEST PERSON EVER), to Takayama, which is famous for having some well preserved very old buildings. And also for having
sarubobo, the "baby monkey", as its mascot. It is literally EVERYWHERE.
It's about 3 hours away from Nagoya by bus, up in some mountains. I freakin love mountains, did you know? Anyway, it's interesting and it was fun :) We left at about 8:30 from Nagoya, and then left Takayama around 5. By 4 we were both exhausted though. It was SO incredibly hot, too. Ugh.
I took some pics of course xD
the famous bridge
Hiroko and me in front of the river
old city street
shadowy mountains in the distance
Hida beef is very famous, so we went to a nice hibachi restaurant and had an *excellent* meal (and it wasn't too expensive either!)
Krystinbobo.
Because I can't top that, this must be the
END.
