top reasons why today is amazing:
got my passport forms handed in and it only took an hour from start (getting my photo taken) to going into that sketchy rite-aid on the ave to get a money order for the fees. sidenote: i ended up paying extra for an expedited one. that sucked.
am currently drinking a ridiculously huge (venti) mocha because it was my "buy 10 coffees get one free" free coffee.
i just discovered the most amazing website ever (disclaimer: it's only amazing if you've got too many oceanographic problems than you know what to do with).
season premiere of the oc is on tonight!!!
tomorrow i get paid so i can repay ian for loaning me the cash to get a passport.
it's already thursday?!
we calibrated a new sensor this morning and instead of getting really wet/muddy and it taking all morning, it only took 45 min and everything went as planned. it may as well be my birthday.
with all the extra time after calibration, my coworker and i started an experiment between coke, pepsi, their diet products, and mountain dew to see which soda would eat away some bolts we found in the machineshop the quickest. i'll let you all know who wins. all i'm confident about is that within a week they're all going to look gross and i'll be glad i don't drink soda.
and how hottt looking are the new ipod nanos?? before i was feeling kinda protective of my original mini, but now all bets are off.
so barbara bush, former first lady, made a comment that the hurricane refugees are currently better off than before the storm because while they're all now homeless, at least they're getting coddled and have a chance to get back on their feet. vs before when most of them were in bad states of poverty and no one cared about them. what? that is by far one of my favorite hurricane statements of the last week.
finally, there's not much else to say except:
