ohwow. i feel like gash today. ohsweetjesus, make it stop.
i have class in a few minutes, maybe chem prof will actually show up for lecture today. then's the biggest waste of time ever, aka geology lab. maybe we'll get to look at plate tectonics again this week while our heavy metal ta swings his long hair around. here's hoping.
this morning i've been trying to write a last minute moderately-sincere essay on why i'm the coolest ocean undergrad ever, or at least cool enough to get one of the full scholarships for next year. i also found a research grant for next year that looks pretty good...that app is much more involved but not due for two weeks so hopefully i can pull that one together. it would be cool to get paid for the work i already do with my boss (that fiber optic sensor for marine particles that we've been developing).

due tomorrow: tons of excel graphs and files for all the data we collected during the spring break cruise. oh excel, my arch-nemesis.
i'm really in the mood to go see a movie but i don't think there's anything out that i want to see. guess i'll just mope and get my work done.
time to run frolick across campus to kane and try to pay attention to dr chiu, broken english chem lecturer extraordinare.
