Down the stream of life we float
Bobbles, trinkets, worthless junk
We bob with the waves
Speed with the current
And are content with our reflection in the water
But where do we float to
Why are we in this stream
When we see what we want
And can't have it
Why do we look down stream for something else
Us bobbles need to learn to swim
We need to learn to move independently
And strive towards a goal
Rather than being content with our reflection
We should fix our mind on what we want
And learn to swim
But we will not
For we are bobbles, trinkets, worthless junk
And the current is strong
Only when the Master fishes out of the water
Only then will we see what we want
And not have to strive towards it
For He carries us
And cherishes us for the worthlessness that we are
