Thankfully Home for the Holidays

Dec 19, 2007 22:08

As anyone who has spoken to me recently will realize, my life has been whirling at full tilt.  Mostly due to an overabundance of time at work, I feel like the weeks come and go with brief pauses called weekends that hardly give me time to catch my breath.  We welcomed Matt this week.  It's great to have him here! Didn't hurt that he has a big TV.  = P

Tomorrow, I brave the Xmas party at work.

Saturday, our featured changeling game.

Sunday, Arkansas.

I can't wait to be home.

I'll be in Jonesboro from late on the 27th until early on the 30th.  Expect people to be called, doors to be knocked upon, and couches to be claimed.  I have no idea yet where I'm sleeping and throw myself on the mercy of the local readers.

Finally, I get to spend New Year's with some great folks in Atlanta before heading back to what is shaping up to be a horrible week at work.  I don't mind though....the break makes it all worthwhile!

I hope that  everyone can find some peace and happiness among the bustle and stress that so typically defines our holidays.

Merry Christmas
