Old Poem Found While Cleaning Room

All I knew was that you would change it all,
piece by piece with out a single flaw.
I didn't say that I wanted this
I can not let you die like this.

Slip

Give me another chance.
Twisting the scene
I needed a better glance.
I wish this was just a dream.

Soothe away all the voices, I'm not insane.
Light a flame and begin to ease the pain.
I didn't say that I wanted this
I can not let you die like this.

Give me another chance.
Twisting the scene
I needed a better glance.
I wish this was just a dream.

I'd kill just to take it back,
bury it deep between the cracks.
They don't have to know
I will never let you go
