I wrote a letter to GOP senator Mel Martinez.
Actually, I wrote two letters.
1.
Dear Mr. Martinez,
With all due respect, the party that once prided itself as a champion of states' rights has now become a riduclous moral circus; a religiously funded party that cares only about its next paycheck from the religious right. Let me quote a republican congressman from Connecticut, Mr. Christopher Shays: "My party is demonstrating that they are for states' rights unless they don't like what states are doing." This blatant contradiction basically sums up the mindset that the G.O.P. has adopted. My vote in the next election will be seriously affected by the Republican's actions.
