A Book

My good friend Ketonia, who's one of the coolest ladies in the entire world, made me commit to write a self-help book for women. Given how busy I am with my job as a video game designer, it may take a while. But, I wouldn't have agreed if I didn't think I'd actually do it. So, any of my spare, non-video game design writing is very likely going to stay on that topic.

Writing a self-help book for men just seems like largely an effort in futility. Men are so chronically lacking self-awareness it would be like writing a book on macroeconomics for preschoolers. Women, though, do not have the problem and can actually benefit from something like that.

I'm just wondering how nice I have to be to be publishable. I mean, I can stick with my traditional method of writing as if I was repeatedly swinging a sledgehammer to somebodies forehead. Maybe I should go about it with a bit more wit and finesse. Hmmm...I guess it depends on what i'm trying to accomplish. But, if i'm not throwing burning moltov's through windows can I really be comfortable putting my name on it?

Most of the book is already written in my head, combined with old writings. It's just a question of tone and trying to find some proper topics to tie the whole thing together.
