cat question
does anyone know how to get a female cat to stop peeing everywhere?
All of a sudden one of my female cats just won't stop peeing everywhere. She pees on the carpets in the living room, on the sides of the couches, on curtains that are near the floor, on just about anything that is soft and laying on the floor or on countertops, even on the kitchen counters! I can't get her to stop. I don't want to get rid of her cuz it would kill me. But, my husband is getting fed up with her. It smells bad in here and everytime I clean it up (I have bought a ton of different carpet cleaners for the use of getting rid of cat urine), she does it all over again. I have a few thoughts about what might be causing her to do this all of a sudden but I am no doctor... She is in heat ALL the time (Yes, I know, I need to spay her soon) and I heard that that might cause it or it could be the litter I have been using as of late. I don't know. But, I do know that now that she has done it, she will keep doing it unless I find a way to stop her for good. Any help would be great!!
