Friday was relatively uneventful, although we did have a client leave the program. I volunteered to clean his carpet because I was BORED. One of the other residents showed me how to use the machine and made sure I always had enough water to put in it etc. He was very helpful.
Saturdays are pretty boring at work. There are no groups, nothing really structured going on. So as I was knitting a pair of fingerless gloves, a resident who is currently in the hospital called. I talked to him for a bit and it was nice. He wants to come back asap, but he's afraid that he's going to be in trouble. Evidently this isn't the first time he had called. I hope he can come back.
Also as I was knitting one of the residents asked, with so much joy and excitement, if I was knitting for a baby. It was quite possibly the cutest thing ever.
