a fairly productive day
got the paper done and turned in. not my best showing ever, but it's a rough draft, so there's plenty room and time for improvement.
did a bunch of random stuff today. went to perkins for breakfast, and then a quick stop at target, where i got some much needed note cards and little post-it tabs. charlie also scored the west wing: season 5 for 22.99. if my dad hadn't bought if for me last week, i would've returned it to best buy and gotten it at target instead. however, i don't have to worry about that. . thanks dad :)
this evening theresa, charlie, and i headed to the greater s. 76th street area to visit a couple of stores down there. picked up a few DVDs at the mecca; "the addams family", "billy madison", and "drop dead gorgeous". i was disappointed that they didn't have any of the TV shows on DVD that i needed, but i'll just have to be patient. we also stopped at best buy, where i spent a good 20 or so minutes playing guitar hero. that game is oddly addicting. depending on how much the vegas trip might end up costing me, i might use some of my tax refund on a ps2 and that game. how i love the federal and state governments right now.
tonight is going to be a relaxing on of movie watching and general slacking. tomorrow is doc's last concert, so i'll have to sit through that in the afternoon. i'll get see people though, so that's plus. i'll also spend some time working on papers, readings, etc for class on monday. i really just can't wait for this semester to be over with.
i have to remember to email dr. barrington tomorrow, and maybe do a little school research as well. we'll see what does and doesn't get done.
