Paper or Plastic Faces?
At least now I can use the phrase "I learned this in rehab", and not be lying.
An examination of a tribe of monkeys revealed ten percent of them to be depressed. After the depressed monkeys were removed from the rest, the tribe of normal monkeys were found dead several years later. It is believed the depressed monkeys were the guardians, and without them, the others fell victim to predators, weather, starvation, etc.
Apparently it proves we are all to be depressed ten percent of our lives, as a defense mechanism.
I learned this in rehab.
Then I was told the story is most likely made up.
What I learned: People lie to you.
