Hamstars and rockstars
Yesterday was emotionally exhausting. Jen's dwarf hamster died, so we had to give it a proper burial and all of that. She was supposed to have lived about 2 years, but she beat that by 150%, living out a good five years. And even though she was quite the strange half-bat, wobbly creature in the end, at least she was happy and still quite exploratory.
I am happy to have known Fishstick.
This weekend is the Big Red Welcome wherein all the college students are welcomed back to UNL. We went to the street dance, aka the hip-hop rally, and danced like we would assume all the superheroes dance. Plus, we nabbed tons of $1 coupons for the Juice Stop. We should be good until the end of the year, at least, and they don't expire.
Not that $1 coupons are that hard to come by, but it's the ease of it all now.
