My sister got engaged! :D
I'm still trying to get her to promise me the right to name her first and last born child, but no results yet. But it will happen!
The proposal was completely adorable. Her boyfriend (now fiancee) woke her up at the ungodly hour of 6 AM for a scavenger hunt! Quest cards based on WoW format (my sister loves WoW). It was on Valentine's Day, too (yeah, cheesy, ikr).
Basically, he had her search around her studio for clues and locations to find roses (even having her log onto Restaurant City; he changed his restaurant into the layout of her studio, with I LOVE at the corners. A pot of roses were in his restaurant where the studio balcony was, and that's where the 'real' roses were) and chocolate and then had her drive to a spa place. Then when she came back from the spa place, and long story short, he proposed!
As much as I hate Valentine's Day for its gigantic promotion of consumerism, I am so happy for her! She can finally stop moaning about his commitment issues and pop a few nieces and nephews for me to corrupt. 8D
Today, though, we went to Maggiano's and had a celebratory dinner. My second (her twin) sister couldn't come; she was in Utah with HER boyfriend, enjoying the sight of Mormons and the Salt Lake. The food there? Amazing. I love the lasagna and the spinach dip! And the Bluebell ice cream on the apple (something) was to die for. The Creme Brulee? <3
But yeah, it was fun. I want her to have a long wedding dress so her boyfriend's students at his church can lift up her train when she walks down the aisle. And she can have flower girls! D'aaaaw.
