[Another small group now enters the hallway. There are no words shared between the doctor and their soldier, just the beep of the card reader confirming its desired action.

The doctor opens the door herself, a clipboard tucked into her arm. No greeting, just a frigid look cast down at the small bare-assed child.]

Can you stand?

[Hey, he's got the stupid robe thing that was given to him on. He scrambles back, though away from the door at the sight of the soldier.

At the question, he just glares and refuses to answer.]

[deadfacility]

[Her position shifts slightly, head tilting.]

The less you cooperate, the less likely you are to be released.

[escapedpandora]

[He shakes his head, but finally speaks up.]

Why... why are we here? Why did you lock us up?

[deadfacility]

[The corners of her mouth turn slightly upward.]

Because we doubt you would comply otherwise, please step outside the cell.

[escapedpandora]

[Despite himself, he stands up. He makes no move to step out yet, but instead stares up at her intently, one hand covering his brand.]

Can't... can't you just ask us? I'm sure a lot of people would have liked the shelter from outside. You didn't need to lock everyone up.

[deadfacility]

I'm afraid it's just procedure.

[She nods gently to the guard and he takes one step inside the cell.]

[He takes a step back when the other enters the room, but hits the wall instead.]

This... what's going on?

[deadfacility]

[She says no more and moves along.]

[The guard moves in to grab him]

Hey!

[He tries to evade by ducking under the guard, and then making a run for the door.]

[The guard grabs him by the hospital gown and yanks him into a head lock.]

[He lets out a yelp and struggles, trying to pull at the arm around his neck and flailing. Why was everyone in the world so tall?]

[The guard struggles a bit but manages to keep him still long enough to jab him with a needle. He should be feeling sleepy very fast.]

[It was a cute attempt. The soldier tosses his mask up and tosses the shota over one shoulder. Off to the test room we go]
