Been a long time since I rock and rolled
So I was writing this earlier when Blogger did something funky and eliminated the ENTIRE thing, which was a lengthy post too. Pissed me off a little bit because there were really good links for all you faithful people and now my lazy ass has to go out and find them once more, damn annoying. To start off like I did the last one that is the image of Green Arrow for the Smallville Halloween episode, damn money if you ask me. Not only is Green Arrow on for the majority of the season one episode, entitled Justice, will include Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash. Yeah, second episode in Jan will be fucking money.
I haven't updated lately because my plate is full, hell, it's overflowing with awesomeness. This past Saturday saw another day and another commentary goldmine for me and the EWA. I think it will be a first in commentating history to mention Golden Showers, the Paris Hilton sex tape, illiteracy, sexual favors, men screwing other men, virginity and...baby powder. I cannot wait for this show to come out on DVD, hopefully before this time next year.
I have also begun DJing at The Swerve at Kellys Irish Times in DC next to Union Station. What began as helping out during the kickball nights has now grown into a full-fledged job, interesting how things like that happen. Now I know must wonder how one such as I can put up with crappy request after crappy request after Journey request, but hey, the money is good and I usually drink for free. I don't have a set night as of yet, but give it time, I might just. Hell, I am probably working there the next few weekends if people get bored.
Anita is, well to put it simply, amazing. She is without a doubt the best there is, the best there was and probably the best there ever will be in my life. I don't know what I did right karma wise to be blessed with such an amazing woman but I have been and I will cherish her for as long as I am allowed. For the first time in my life I'm not thinking about what could have been, what should have been and wondering why it wasn't. All I'm thinking about is the future and spending it with her. Hell, apparently I was the talk of the weekend at her parent's place this weekend. Note to self, make sure to bug her before her next visit so I can listen in to said conversation.
Bill Clinton recently did a sit down interview with a Faux News lackey and per usual the Faux News Lackey went from talking about the Clinton Global Imitative, something truly remarkable and likely to get him the Nobel Prize, and of course they attack how he did "Nothing to capture Bin Laden.". FINALLY he stands up to the lackey and lays down the FACTS about the 90s and what HE attempted to do with opposition from the Republican Party. Now, I wish I could link the videos for you to watch (I myself have watched it a few times today alone) but Fox News has already attacked YouTube and ordered that they take DOWN the videos. I guess they took their ball and ran home, fucking pussies. I CAN NOT WAIT to watch the Daily Show tonight as this was aired yesterday morning on Faux.
Damn, even the Saturday spot where they try to already spin the interview BEFORE it is even aired has been taken down. You should be ashamed of yourself Faux News. If this was Dubya and another glory piece you'd let everyone and their mothers post it up, but since it is Bubba slicing your balls off and making earrings for you, it must come down. I can truly now see that it is fair and balanced.
Along the same lines, a new documentary has debuted and it is one I strongly suggest you all go out and see. Iraq For Sale is done by the same gentleman who brought us the documentaries about Wal-Mart and Faux News. They are not releasing this to theaters, all money for the project was raised through the internet, and all showings are going to be done by groups. I myself am planning on going to the October 8th showing in DC if Anita feels so inclined and not in Houston. I urge you all to do the same, and to get out and vote in November so we can take back the House and Senate.
Finally today the big news in the wrestling world this weekend is that the first MAJOR shot was issued across the bow of the USS WWE. Kurt F'N Angle has signed on with TNA. Not only has he signed on with TNA, TNA has been given a PRIME TIME SLOT on Spike TV (9pm on Thursdays in Mid-November). Christian was one thing, his contract expired and he moved on to where he can be a star. KURT ANGLE is and has been arguably the best wrestler in the world since 2002. Kurt leaving Vince to sign with TNA truly means they actually MEAN something in the wrestling industry in the US. Christian was one thing, he was a mid-carder someone I'm sure Vince saw as expendable, but this is Kurt F'N Angle. No more of, you will only see an Olympic Gold Medalist here, now we will only see him on TNA.
