Complaint letter I sent to the company
I am an associate at the heubner oaks location, working salads during 10a-4pm. I have noticed that since its summer time, more people want salads especially since the new ones came out. There is usually a line out the door for a good 2+ hours straight, most everyone ordering a salad. It can get very stressful for one person to be dealing with all these salads. I wonder why there aren't at least 2 people working salads during this rush. or if not an extra salad person, someone from the line to come help the huge line for salad orders. It would move the line along more efficiently and get people their salads faster. Also what concerns me is I'm only allowed to make about 2-3 backups, which I go through in a matter of minutes. I average about 6-7 Caesar salad backups in a lunch rush, on any given day. it depends, but sometimes there is someone to help make backups to bring to me during the rush, but sometimes there aren't..CONTINUED
It causes delay in the orders if I have to run back and forth getting salad backup, and causes confusion and stress. I heard someone the other day asking if there was anyone else on salads because I was so backed up, having to run back and forth, and the large volume of salad orders. I want to be as happy and cheerful as I can be to patrons, and with these 2 issues, it makes it very hard. I was told today by a manager that someone complained that I looked stressed and not wanting to be there, and this distressed me because I do not want to portray that at all to the people I'm serving. I think if there was more focus on salad help during lunch rush during this summer time, everything and everyone would be more efficient, happy and relaxed.
