This is a fan-ramble for A7X. I know people are busy but if you are interested to know this AMAZING band and you listen to hard rock music, please read on! ^___^
So yeah, it's been my 24/7 lately... Avenged Sevenfold's music. I went crazy the last few days and downloaded their whole discography, live shows and music videos through torrent (anyone who uses torrent to download stuff knows how much patience you'll need for this) and man! I just can't stop watching live in the LBC! I'm not very much into listening to screaming music but their older songs proved I can tolerate them even just for listening to the guitars... They are hard rock with melody!
The members themselves are VERY proficient musicians and each of them is a lovely character. If you don't know them yet, I made a short introduction for them! XD
M Shadows - vocals
I don't care what people say about him not being able to scream anymore. The Live in the LBC DVD obviously proves them wrong and I prefer his singing over his screaming anyway.
Synyster Gates - lead guitar
I'm not very familiar with what he does (shredding) but it sure sounds good and super cool! He usually does guitar solos on their songs and together with Zacky, they do (blazing) harmonizing duels.
Zacky Vengeance - rhythm guitar
A left handed guitarist! That alone is cool. XD Kick-ass guitarist (him and Syn are my favorites) and yeah, it takes skill to be able to do a guitar duel with Syn and he sure has it.
Johnny Christ - bass
Third bassist of the band if I remember correctly. Also the youngest and shortest member XD. He is always at the receiving end of the band's (not for the faint of heart) practical jokes. But all jokes aside, he is a very good bassist.
The Rev - drums (deceased)
The awesome drummer of A7X... I still can't get over the fact that he's already gone (Why couldn't it have been ERAP or J3##$& $!@## ??? WHY!?). He's a big loss to music and all the people who loved him. He's definitely one of the best and he will never be forgotten. RIP dude. :)
Live in the LBC
This is a super great live show and I haven't read a single bad thing about it. Seriously. When I watched this show, I only know a handful of songs (all from their latest album) but hearing the others, it transformed me into a fan instantly. It's amazing how they can sound so good live that the album versions kinda pales in comparison. The pyrotechnical effects are amazing too. The guys definitely know how to throw one hell of a show.
The video below is part of the LBC show. They cover Pantera's Walk and they let a fan sing the whole of it! It's one of my favorite parts of the show because guys are just awesome like that.

And now... pic spam!
Got this gif from the internet somewhere... if this is yours, sorry for taking and using it! peace! :) This is a shot of Zacky and Syn from A7X' music video for Bat Country.
Notice Zacky's guitar strap? LOL!!! XD I saw him in a video playing a show in front of a very huge crowd (Graspop 2006) wearing this strap... He's all serious and performing and stuff and then I noticed the writing on the strap and I was like 'WTF?!' It says "Yay 4 me" + a smiley.
Anyway, I'll this here. Can't wait for their next album and... RIP The Rev.
EDIT:
hallielovesrock has sent me a while ago two links to these beautiful articles about The Rev's family and the funeral. Thank you for sharing the links and to the fans who haven't read these yet, I strongly encourage you to do so.
